I would take the bc pills. You can always stop. It take about three months to get your body used to them. And my guess is you will probabaly be fine. I never had any side effects. And the benifits are sometimes a good thing. I know that the bc keep the cysts from growing to large. At least that was the case with me. And I am lucky I have not had the wieght gain that some women have had from the cysts. I am surprised your dr is not being a little more forcful with you taking them. But then again you know your own body better then anyone.
