Ride plans were postponed by a trip to the ER for my husband who cut the top of his foot on a piece of broken glass (long story). But after he was stitched up and home again, I went out for 26 miles by myself. High 60's- 70 out, mostly cloudy skies. I rode up to the base of Mt. Lemmon and back, which put me past the 4400 mile mark for the year. Now on to cooking!

Only 10 miles before my body started telling me it was time to stop...but that is further than I got last time, I will take it! I DID get 12 miles on the trainer this morning but that isn't the same. I really miss my long rides, but that will come back in time if I am patient.
I COULD have pushed it further, and at one time I would have, but why take the risk? Healing properly now = much more rides and smiles later

Did two short rides in Paris [woot!] on California beach cruisers, but I guess it's just not the same.
