Gosh, everyone's been having such an up-and-down time with hospitals lately. My friend is still in the hospital... things are still very scary (kind of par for the course for a heart transplant candidate, I guess), but it's better than the very, very, very scary month-or-so he just made it through.

Being in the hospital over the holidays stinks even more than usual. Hoping to spend some time with him this weekend.
