    Seriously considering dermal filler.
I bought my custom bike and frankly, the fillers cost a lot less. I don't see myself doing it forever, but at least until I get the "job of my dreams" in my second career. I don't cast aspersions on anyone who gets "work" done, as long as it doesn't look fake or overdone. Sure, I'm vain. I might see this differently if the women on this forum weren't healthy, athletic people in terms of lifestyle, but really, if you have the $, i.e. don't go into debt to get it done, who cares?

    Serendipity!

I ran into the mechanic who built my bike 17 years ago! He's no longer working on bikes (drives a Frito-Lay truck because it pays better...sigh...) but said my frame maker is still going great guns & is doing all different types of materials. But most importantly, he said my bike (steel, reynolds 753) is one of the best materials that bikes were built from. It's definitely vintage, lugged frame but the joints are decorative points with Thunderbird cut outs. AND it fits me perfectly. His suggestion was to take the frame back, have it sanded down & repainted, maybe new pedals. It's Campy Chorus and still runs just fine. My fear was that I'd pay big bucks for a bike that didn't fit as well as my Gilmour (the name of the frame builder.) So when the weather gets too cold to ride (you know - 50 degrees ) I'll take it in.

Re dermal fillers - I'm definitely interested in those for my upper lip. I've read that your body will start to make collagen, so the fillers can last for a year +. AND, if you don't like it, it can be reversed. Many years ago I had botox done on my forehead & ended up looking like a gecko for three months, so I'm very gun-shy about face work.
To train a dog, you must be more interesting than dirt.
