Indysteel: Look at the "extra deep" sheets from the Company Store... they fit up to 20".

Disclaimer: Just in case you wonder, I am not affiliated to that store, but I have stuff from them.

Thanks for the tip! Have you purchased any of their sheets? Any specific suggestions?

Flannel. Always flannel. Winter, spring, summer, fall.

I get mine in sets at Costco. $40 or so per set. Each set lasts about 10 years, maybe 15 years, so I rarely need to replace them... I just want new colors and buy more!

Wow I did not expect so many answer's and coversations on sheets when I got in tonight. Now here is mu comments back. Sorry if I leave anyone out.
I am not a hige flannel fan though in the winter I put a flat flannel sheet between my reg bed flat sheet and a thick blanket. It adds just enough warmth. But my husband sleeps hot so having flannel sheets does not work for him. I wish we could have them but he sweats. Bad! I thought he peed the bed the first time we slept together. Ha! That was funny. I just went back to sleep cause I was to tired to deal with it. Then sniffed the sheet's the next day and then scratched my head. Then realized he is a sweater every time he forst falls asleep.
So anyway.....my flannel flat sheet is an LL Bean, bought it as a seperate. It has Really stood the test of time. I would buy a set if I could.
Thinking target sheet's. Have 2 set's right now but one is getting super old and the other is soft but not that soft and don't fit well. Deep pockets here too. I think I am going to try these hotel sheets. They were REALLY soft! And cozy but not the flannel hot cozy. If anyone wants the site let me know.

We registered for these for our wedding and yes, they are spendy but they are some of the nicest sheets I've ever had. They are nice quality thickness and have held up well for nearly continuous use for 15 months. I hate the other set we have so these get washed and used every week. I would love another set but I'm not sure I can bring myself to spend $140 on another set.

My set that is falling apart are this brand. I have to say I have had them forever and washed them a million times. The elastic is getting crunchy. Maybe I should get another set of those.......so many choices.

High thread count - 300+ is definitely worth it.

As for the penchant for having thick matresses these days... when I replaced my old matress, the salesman said to buy sheets one size up. I have a double bed (it was my grandparent's) so I buy queen sized sheets. That is if I can't find deep pocket double (standard) bed sheets. And sometimes the regular pocket queen is less expensive than deep pocket double. I suppose if you have a deep pocket king you're stuck.

I bought their bamboo/cotton sheets and love them; I also have a down comforter (of their "legends" collection) that is fabulous, and gave some of their pillows as gifts. The bamboo sheets are not available in extra deep, but their quality is very good. Read the overview section on each product -- it will tell you the maximum depth they fit. The 350 and 450 thread count ones it up to 20". Others are described as 17", 18"...

ETA: It seems their list is incomplete. Because of this thread, I started checking sheets again (it's good to have more sets in the rotation) and was liking one until I saw the depth: 20" (I have a futton-style mattress...). Guess if I was you, I'd chat with the customer support.
