OK, below is the link. I'm exhausted right now, so could be some errors. Let me know if I need to correct, or if I missed some first weights from folks that posted them before the weekend. I promise to be more coherent next weekend.

I am in. The last several months have been really hard. It meant a lot to me to have the members of this forum be so supportive and caring while my sister was ill. She passed away October 15th, and I stress ate everything in sight and cut way back on my exercise during this time. I am doing a little better now, started exercising more, and am trying to eat healthy food, although I am having trouble getting my sweet tooth back under control. I was 143 on November 4th and I want to be 135 at the end of the year. That will about get me back to where I was last August. Pledge: I stopped logging my food - and pledge to log every bit during this challenge period!

Possegal - thank you so much for doing this and I hope you heal up soon. I have had that feeling about wrapping myself with bubble wrap too!

klesko - I'm so sorry about your sister. Your description of your last weeks reminds me of a sort of joke my one sister and I have. After our mother died, then after our sister was diagnosed with lung cancer, we both joked "well we've numbed our pain with food all our lives, why stop now." We both knew that wasn't the way to deal, but it was a hard habit to break. I hope you can find your rhythm again with the eating and exercising. We all know ultimately that makes us feel so much better. But then that chocolate bar calls our name.
Take care of yourself and we are here anytime you need us!

Count me in. I will just say that my goal is to get into a range that is about 10 lbs less than where I am right now. I will still weigh in and report change, if there is any. I've had to back off on the fitness and consequently have developed some pudge (because my brain still thinks I'm running 40+ mpw). Also some hormone stuff going on, which isn't helping. I might find at the end of December that my goal is not possible given my current activity level and (lack of) motivation to change my eating habits, but I need an incentive to at least try. I'm the heaviest I've been in several years.
