    My eating is getting a bit much... especially since I haven't ridden in 2 weeks! A few walks, a couple of step classes, core classes, but I still am dealing with bronchitis.
    B: 2 slices machengo cheese, whole wheat deli flat, olive oil, 2 slices turkey bacon, blueberries, coffee
    S: 3 dried apricots
    L: salad with vinaigrette, chicken, avocado, cilantro, piece of bread

    OK, goes downhill from here. It was my birthday. We had our monthly theatre tickets, and we decided to stay in Boston. Got there around 3, promptly went to the bar and had a beer, split a flatbread with tomato and mozzarella.
    D: glass of red wine, appetizer of pumpkin gnocchi which I didn't finish it was so huge, sliced duck on pan fried brown rice, asparagus, cup of chamomile tea

    5 grain hot cereal with 1/2 a banana and walnuts
    a ww English Muffin with CC
    a spinach pie and a pizza strip
    chili mac
    Greek yogurt with wheat germ and walnuts
    will have some fruit, most likely a pear and some grapes, later

    Yesterday: oatmeal, bananas, 1% milk, coffee
    Snack a few handfuls of almonds
    Lunch: late, a tiny bit of au gratin potatoes
    Dinner (a banquet, can the food ever be good at a banquet?) piece of salmon, salad,did not eat the mashed potatoes (yuck); 2 steamed carrots and one piece of broccoli, two bites of white cake with coffee, 1 glass of red wine

    fruit plate, omelette with cheese, mushrooms, peppers, small croissant, coffee
    L/S plain Greek yogurt with blueberries, dried cranberries, walnuts, cup of green tea, a couple of slices of cheese later

    D: (restaurant) salad w/oil and vinegar, grilled salmon, sweet potato, asparagus, 1 piece of bread, glass of red wine.

    Back to normal after past few days with Hallowe'en, a work networking breakfast and a lunch out with a work colleague:

    Yesterday:

    B- cornflakes with fresh raspberries, 2 c. of tea with skim milk,

    snack/lunch - fig and anise scone, coffee with skim milk

    snack- after cycling, shopping, 2 c. of tea with skim milk, a pear, a plum

    D- fresh fennel sauteed with tomatoes, onions, basil, buckwheat noodles

    snack-a tangerine, c. of tea with skim milk

    Yea, I drink alot of tea at home.

    Too much sugar this week. Blech. Today:

    B: 2 slices sourdough toast with butter, 3 slices of bacon
    46-mile ride; Water, shot blocks, 2 packages of peanut M&Ms.
    Lunch (also on ride): 6 chicken nuggets and a small coke from the McDonald's near the trail. Since the alternative was bonking in the middle of nowhere...
    Post-ride: Small eggnog frappucino. Tasty!
    D: I have no idea. I'm too tired to contemplate cooking. Maybe huevos rancheros or something.
    At least I don't leave slime trails.

    Why am I still wiped out?
    Dinner last night was heuvos rancheros: 2 eggs, fried in butter (mm!), hot salsa, two tortillas

    B: 2 slices toast with butter, Bolthouse protein drink mixed with milk
    Latte.
    L: Chicken strips, salad, Dr. Pepper.
    S: apple cider with caramel and whipped cream
    D: Cereal with 1%. I think I'll have an apple when I finish this paper.
    At least I don't leave slime trails.
