    Halloween Rides, Anyone?

I left school early (no class, and nothing was getting done in terms of work) to take a short ride. 6.6 miles around the neighborhood, in the world's most awful shorts. All my other shorts were still damp!
At least I don't leave slime trails.

Really wanted to go out today - beautiful weather. BUT the traffic was insane and I just didn't feel like it was a safe night to be riding around dusk with lots of cars and people meandering about. Especially since my main route has a bunch of churches on it and they're all doing their thing tonight.

didn't get out today, but did get out to do a 50 mile charity ride- the red cross ramble- yesterday. Beautiful day- chilly 40 degree start but warmed up to 70 fairly quickly. I am especially pleased because it was my longest distance to date since surgery.

Took the corgie for a short run, 3/4 mile today after working with trainer for 2 hours so all it all it has been a good couple of days.

I did want to go for a ride tonight, but I'm not up for it. I've been so sick and miserable these past few days, I barley have enough energy to bike home after work. And of course, I didn't exactly take it easy for Halloween weekend. Our local DIY bike shop had a bar & dance party.

Didn't go for a ride, but almost was ran into by a couple of cyclists riding in the dark without any lights while taking DS2 trick or treating. There were enough children roaming around etc that is could have been a bit dangerous for pedestrians, but I don't really think they had to worry about cars too much.

I didn't ride on Halloween night, but I did participate in a costume ride around DC with a local bike meet-up group on Sunday afternoon. I live way out in the suburbs and this was my first time riding in the city. I'm looking forward to doing that again; although, perhaps not in costume.

I don't mind the rat race but I could do with a little more cheese.
