    slice of banana chocolate chip bread
    multi-grain English muffin with butter
    veggie barley soup and grilled cheese sandwich
    raspberry Greek yogurt with walnuts
    2.5 bowls of pasta with veggie tomato sauce
    a pear
    slice of bread with cheddar cheese

    I need more fruit. I miss blueberries now that they're out of season. The frozen ones are okay, but not the same.

    B: 1 bowl grapenuts, 1% milk, coffee
    L: 1 small bowl of leftover japanese noodles stir fried with veges, little soy sauce
    S: 1 cookie
    D: 1 beer, roast beef, au jus, au gratin potatoes, broccoli (the au gratin potatoes were sinfully yummy!)
    Dessert: 1 cookie

    Saturday:
    2 egg omelette with salsa and cheese, 2 slices turkey bacon, blueberries, tea
    chicken salad/grapes/celery sandwich on french bread at a bakery
    nuts and cranberries
    2 lamb chops with honey/fig sauce, whole wheat cous cous, salad with lettuce, tomato, avocado, vinaigrette

    Sunday: whole wheat bagel sandwich with low salt ham and provolone, an orange, tea
    coffee
    chicken salad on a bed of lettuce, cup of butternut squash soup

    pita chips and Machengo cheese, hummus appetizer
    chicken breast with apricot/balsamic vinegar sauce, butternut squash, salad with veggies
    small cheesecake brownie
    I haven't been exercising much, as it's taking me a long time to get over this bronchitis. My weight's been OK, but body fat has been going up .

    We have fresh blueberries from South America in our stores all winter. It's worth it to me to buy them, as blueberries are so good for you and I love them!

    2 pieces of snack candy bars while handing out candy to the trick or treaters

    half of a whole wheat naan "pizza" with pesto, figs, goat cheese, salad, 2 squares chocolate

    yesterday:
    low salt ham and cheese on a whole wheat bagel, an orange, coffee
    more coffee
    salad with chicken and veggies
    Luna Bar
    dinner with friends who slept over, since they still had no power: (I cooked) pan seared talapia, with rosemary, onion and red pepper, mashed sweet potato, 3 pieces of some chocolate Halloween candy, and too much red wine before and during the meal.

    Back to normal after past few days with Hallowe'en, a work networking breakfast and a lunch out with a work colleague:

    Yesterday:

    B- cornflakes with fresh raspberries, 2 c. of tea with skim milk,

    snack/lunch - fig and anise scone, coffee with skim milk

    snack- after cycling, shopping, 2 c. of tea with skim milk, a pear, a plum

    D- fresh fennel sauteed with tomatoes, onions, basil, buckwheat noodles

    snack-a tangerine, c. of tea with skim milk

    Yea, I drink alot of tea at home.

    Too much sugar this week. Blech. Today:

    B: 2 slices sourdough toast with butter, 3 slices of bacon
    46-mile ride; Water, shot blocks, 2 packages of peanut M&Ms.
    Lunch (also on ride): 6 chicken nuggets and a small coke from the McDonald's near the trail. Since the alternative was bonking in the middle of nowhere...
    Post-ride: Small eggnog frappucino. Tasty!
    D: I have no idea. I'm too tired to contemplate cooking. Maybe huevos rancheros or something.
    At least I don't leave slime trails.
