Had a crazy 3+ mile run today on the beach with some Hurricane Rina action...just the outer bands made it here, but we had seriously high tide, which made for soaked shoes and a lot of detours from our usual beach path, which was washed out or under water in place. My most fun detour was up a slanted coconut palm trunk waiting for waves washing under it to recede so I could jump off and run quickly to higher ground!

All the excitement certainly made the run go by quickly today!
