I had a lot of fun doing this ride. There were only couple glitches. My friend had a flat so I had to wait nearly half hour or so for him. I didn't see him so I don't know why it took so long to change a flat. Lol! SPF 15 is crap. Got my cheeks and lips a little burned. Forgot my gloves, but I was actually more comfortable without them. Other than that I didn't have any mechanical issues, nutritional issues, etc.
Other than that I was faster than I expected, I have very little to no pain at all in my legs. Slightly stiff neck, that's it.

I am really surprised because I thought for sure my legs would be painful.
I look forward doing more centuries.
Congrats on your accomplishment! Sounds like you had a great time!
SPF 15 just isn't the right tool for the job. Try a higher SPF and reapply liberally several times during the course of the ride.
Live with intention. Walk to the edge. Listen hard. Practice wellness. Play with abandon. Laugh. Choose with no regret. Continue to learn. Appreciate your friends. Do what you love. Live as if this is all there is.
