New Bike Porn - Finally got a picture

Well, after quite a bit of test-riding at my LBS, I absolutely fell in love with the Ruby. From first sit, she just "fit". Here she is during one of our rail trail rides last week.

    2012 Specialized Ruby Elite Apex

I've got about 75 miles on her so far, and I'm in absolute love. Every time I go out to ride is such a joy. I think my husband is tired of hearing how much I love my bike. I feel connected to this bike in ways that I never felt on my MTB. I feel like a stronger and more capable rider every time I get on this bike. It may all be in my head, but that's OK...whatever works.

Wow, she's a real beauty! Love the color combo. And it's a beautiful thing to witness someone who loves her bike so much.

I bet that's not just in your head about getting stronger and better. When you have a beautiful new bike you love it's easy to keep riding and keep getting better!

I fell in love with my first new bike last October, so I understand. Congratulations on your new found friend! It's beautiful.

Love at first sight (or sit?)! I adore seeing photos of bikes with beautiful scenery. Thanks for sharing Titania!

    Thanks, all!

I'm not normally much of a pink person, but I thought this color combo was fun...and biking should be fun.

Pretty bike and pretty lake! Is that in or near your hometown?
Live with intention. Walk to the edge. Listen hard. Practice wellness. Play with abandon. Laugh. Choose with no regret. Continue to learn. Appreciate your friends. Do what you love. Live as if this is all there is.

Cograts! I've been looking at road bikes for the past few weeks, and after riding the Specialized Ruby yesterday I pretty much know how you feel. I fell in love with it too, and it WILL be my next bike. Enjoy!

It's in Adams, Mass, which is about 2 hours west of where I live . That's the famous Berkshire area of Massachusetts. It's really lovely out there.

Congratulations! I felt exactly the same way when I test-rode my (2009)Dolce Elite. I tried numerous makes and models, but it was the Dolce that put a big grin on my face every time.
