Depends on what year it is and what kind of condition it's in. My DH has a 730 (one step up on components) from about 1997. We have made some changes (different handlebars, etc), but it's still his rainy day commuter bike and very well loved. His is a steel frame/fork. I think some of the more recent ones are aluminum.

I had one of the steel ones from ~1995. It was a boat anchor, but very durable and I loved it.
I agree with Blueberry about age and condition.
