I'm wondering what the minimum time to train for an ironman is - a year? or more. It's fun to dream....

Did Craig Alexander just set a new world record by 4/10s of a second? If I heard right, the old record was 8:08:04 and he came across today in 8:08:03.56 or something like that.

Nope, no Ironman for me. I really like training for halfs. The training is still fun and not too time consuming. And the run continues to be a challenge. An Ironman would make it too much like work. Originally Posted by Trek420

That was an amazing finish. I'd love to hear what Mirinda has to say. She came across a lot stronger than Chrissie at the end there, but Chrissie's endurance was amazing.Getting in touch with my inner try-athlete.

I'm still watching. I'm enjoying hearing where all these people are from, the everyday champions. Two men from San Diego have crossed in the last minute. I wonder if DH knows them.
