I'll 2nd the PI Amfib tight. I had a pair for a short while, but ended up returning them because they were too slippery on my saddle...but they were definitely warm.

I have PI amfib, but my favorites are Sugoi Firewall (mine are at least 6 years old). I see Craft "No excuses cold weather run" tights that looks interesting with the articulated knee.

I have a pair of Nike ThermalPro from years ago but I'm not sure if they still make them. I wish I'd been wearing them today. They're fleecy on the inside and super comfortable.

I have Lucy Propel Run Tights, which are black with reflective piping and rear zippers at the ankles. They're moisture wicking and water resistant, but not waterproof.

You can get the Terry Coldweather tights without a chamois and they are really warm in my opinion. oops, they seem to only be padded these days. I got a pair of unpadded ones on Ebay during the summer. Sorry no help here.

+1 to Oak - don't limit yourself to cycling gear. I don't like a chamois in my tights either. I generally use running tights, or for really cold weather I have a pair of paddling pants - I think they are made for wearing under a wetsuit, but they are quite warm and comfy on their own.

I second the Sugoi Firewall. I've had mine for years.
