well, I would not support your argument to 'never' use a 'guys narrow seat' (however you define that).

The cyst you have (or had) is a bacterial infection and blockage of the duct for the gland. Certainly sitting on a bike seat of any kind could cause irritation but it is not the root cause of the inflammation.

See your doctor for treatment.

Generally speaking, a saddle should be level - with very minute tilt if necessary to personal comfort. I am assuming that you are wearing good quality cycling shorts?
