144.4 this morning. Was 147 on Monday and Tuesday.
Two weeks of crappy weather cut into my exercise somewhat, but I don't think that's really what's going on.
- Gray 2010 carbon WSD road bike, Rivet Independence saddle
- Red hardtail 26" aluminum mountain bike, Bontrager Evoke WSD saddle
- Royal blue 2018 aluminum gravel bike, Rivet Pearl saddle
Gone but not forgotten:
- Silver 2003 aluminum road bike
- Two awesome worn out Juliana saddles
159.4 ... 4.6 lbs down, woo hoo.
And I'm starting to see & feel a difference. Excellent.
The new WW plan is working out really well for me. It's not difficult at all for me to stay within my daily allowance, and the weekly allowance gives me the opportunity to splurge a bit, so I'm not feeling deprived. I don't do deprivation well.
On Saturday (while practically everyone else in the Bay Area was riding Levi's Gran Fondo), LeeBob and I took advantage of the glorious weather & drove down to Monterey & Big Sur.
Naturally, we stopped off at our usual feeding spots -- a sweet little cafe in Carmel, and the restaurant at the Ventana Inn in Big Sur, high atop the bluffs overlooking the ocean.
We splurged and I figured I would worry about the points later. But that said, we (Lee is doing this with me, like he has a choice, heh heh) made some reasonably well-informed choices. By reasonably well-informed I mean we opted for side salads instead of fries or potato salad, and I asked for my dressing on the side and had very little of it, and didn't touch the bread. Eh, small steps. That didn't prevent me from thoroughly enjoying a luscious crock of French onion soup along with my noble salad. And at the Ventana Inn, we were going to split a dessert, but we ended up each getting one. But you know, it was well worth it, and I took it easy on the points the rest of the day.
Tallying it all up (and hopefully way overestimating the amt of points), I didn't make that huge of a dent in my weekly points allowance. I generally stay under my daily allowance so I figured this one splurge wasn't going to mess it up too badly.
And I lost nearly 2 lbs this week, so that approach seems to have worked.

Yay, Jobob!! It's nice when the scale confirms our hard work, isn't it?
134.
I had been doing great - down to 221, but popped back up to 224. I think it's salt/water retention, but not sure.
In any case - no change this week. Going to do light exercise today - sore throat and feeling crappy![]()

YEAH to goldfinch and crazycanuck! Great job turning the square to a new color (yeah, that happens when you meet your goal, or are at least less than a lb away).![]()

Thanks Posse!
I have decided that at 114 pounds (actually, anything less than 115) is acceptable. I am now in normal weight range where I was obese. Now I concentrate on fitness. Today I met with a personal trainer, had an assessment, and Wednesday will be our first session. My upper body strength and core strength are crap. Let's see what I can do about that!
I know the toughest is ahead of me. The odds of me keeping this weight off are extremely low. But those who do manage to keep off the weight are people who watch the scale, pay attention to calories, and who exercise. Every day I keep off the weight the odds improve.
I will likely live my life hungry, fighting my brain and body's urge to put on the weight. For now, I am content with that.
