Far be it from me ... but maybe because you're already so deep in oxygen debt from the sports that you haven't been training so hard at?
I didn't get into Boston.But, Saturday's race brought me all kinds of confidence. I'm so glad I decided at the last minute to do that one.
If I can do that, I can run the half at the pace I'm thinking about ... and if I can do that, I can do a sub-four-hour marathon. Positive thinking, baby, positive thinking.
So the question is ... where's the best place to shave five minutes of my PR? Disney (humidity, hanging around for hours getting stiff) or next year's Columbus (with a string of perfect weather it will probably be awful next year)? Can you guess which way I'm leaning?![]()
