    Hi -

I am in the market for some new race wheels. Anyone out there have some to recommend? Any to avoid?
i have heard of the Velomax Victorias, but haven't read any reviews yet.

    Thanks!

If you can find the Master in your end of the world, nothing beats handbuilt custom wheels. I have them on both bikes, very very sweet! Even if you can't totally decide on your own components, a really good builder will know what you need. Factory wheels are made by machine and get weirdnesses in them by the nature of the process.
So where are you? Even if you don't want to go handbuilt, a good wrench can true and tension and get more out of any wheel. We can't reccommend anybody if we don't know where you are.

Come on girls, doesn't anybody else have an opinion? No replies makes a boring thread...

    Thanks!

I know some great wheelbuilders in Albuquerque. I am exploring all options, including factory wheels.

    So... any opinions?

    wheels

I ride on Mavic Ksyrium wheels. They are expensive, but I love them.
