Heck I use my car to get most places, but I like my nice quiet neighborhood street. Hmm, I like my nice quiet neighborhood in general.

They do the opposite here in Arlington. They make the streets narrower to slow down the traffic, add curb "bump-outs" at intersections to shorten the distance pedestrians need to walk to cross the street, add bike lanes, stuff like that. They also focus the high-density growth along the mass transit lines.

The county government is very pro-pedestrian and pro-bike. Unfortunately many of the drivers around here are not.

    - Red hardtail 26" aluminum mountain bike, Bontrager Evoke WSD saddle
    - Royal blue 2018 aluminum gravel bike, Rivet Pearl saddle

    Gone but not forgotten:
    - Silver 2003 aluminum road bike
    - Two awesome worn out Juliana saddles
