Good morning fall, how nice of you to visit this morning on my run. Good thing my cold gear stuff arrived yesterday.

Did 3.5 miles at 6mph pace.

Congrats on your 5k race Deb! And woohoo for your daughter

Did a little over 4 miles with a coworker this morning on the Virgina Tech campus. I'm here for work and was dreading running in the humidity, but at least it was cool temps. Turned out to be a nice run!

Congrats on your race, Deb, and to your daughter too.

I've not been posting much but have been training for the St. Louis Rock 'n Roll HM in October. Just had to tell you all that I ran my first 9 minute mile! I know that doesn't sound like much to most of you ladies but it is to me. I'm finally starting to see some faster times and when I did my speed work this week, ran a 9 minute mile the first mile and 9:20 the second. Maybe I will be a runner after all

Today's run was brrrr! 48F with a brisk breeze at 6:30 AM; I didn't dig out gloves and hat and wish I had. Cut it short at just 3 miles because I was just too cold. Tonight I'll dig out the warm gear.... Of course, in a few months I'll be wishing it was this warm!

The temps have finally started to cool of here in the Southwest. Yeah!! Highs in the 90's or 80's. I have been trying to walk at a track for a half an hour to fourty-five minutes or approximately 2.5 miles. The good news is that I am finally loosing some of my middle, which I am very happy about.

Perhaps this is like the 5K a day. At least I'm out doing something...

Ack, I ran for about 10 minutes of a 30 minute treadmill hill walk, at the hotel I am at, yesterday. My legs are killing me!
It's starting to be the time of year when I start running again, but I am not sure this year. It really messes up my body. On Thursday, I went out for a trail run, which I much prefer, but it was so early, even my headlamp didn't help me. The trail is a bit overgrown and I kind of scared myself with all of the noises in the woods... went back to the street and walked 3.5 miles.
Bike Chick, that is awesome. You and I started at the same time and I never became a real runner.... I am kind of convinced that I am a cyclist and will never be a runner, even though my head thinks I am.
    And congrats, Deb.
