OMG. Girl you are very very brave. I just don't have any words to say about such a ride. Amazing what you all do with 2 wheels.

I also really like exploring new climbs But I've done all the major climbs around here several times.

It took me a long time before I could stop looking at the sides of the cliff on rides like this The video looks worst than it is anyways

While watching the video I noted that there seemed to be a good amount of growth between the trail and actual edge - I would find that comforting We certainly don't have trails with THIS kind of exposure in central Indiana, but am getting better at focusing on the trail itself and ignoring what isn't the trail.

At some point are you able to enjoy the scenery and still focus on the trail/obstacles? I assume the answer is yes

You do get better at looking around, but still need to keep the focus on the trail What does happen is that you start enjoying the trail more as you get more relaxed. One of the secrets is to look ahead, pick your line and not concentrate on the stuff that is already under your wheels.

I am working on this now Body awareness seems to be my biggest challenge right now, but that will come with more practice...and my trainer has already changed my workouts after our ride this weekend.

side tangent - every time I see this thread I think it says "post a video of you while crying". Not sure what that says about me though.

I'm always taking the video, so I only have video of my family while they are cycling. Now crying, that I could get you some footage of.
You too can help me fight cancer, and get a lovely cookbook for your very own! My team's cookbook is for sale Click here to order. Proceeds go to our team's fundraising for the Philly Livestrong Challenge!

Here's yesterday's climbs. I managed to find four roads in Folsom and El Dorado Hills that I haven't shown yet. I had to use the footage from the handlebar-mounted Kodak Playsport because of an incorrect angle on the Contour's helmet mount. It was too high and pointed to one side, which caused almost all the footage to be useless.

Here's the only footage from the Contour that was viewable. This is me living up to my username by climbing a 100% grade-of the artificial rock type. This was at the Folsom Cyclebration cycling expo in Folsom City Park.
