It's hard to pass up a hometown (whether it's current or past) race.

The rev3 race in Portland (OR) got great reviews, independent of kacie's semi-unbiased opinion. If Ironman CdA wasn't already in my backyard, I'd love to check it out. I'd have to forego one for the other, and it's hard to convince me to travel - Florida will be an experiment, and probably a vacation+race combo.

Ah - it's a 70.3, too, so you don't have to commit to a full Ironman. NICE!
