    I've been away the past 2.5 days and my diet included such things as a scallop roll, fries, and ice cream from Sundae School (those of you who go to Cape Cod will know this place). I did ride, but quite moderately for me.
    I have been eating a lot, as my weight has been down. At the end of last week it's stabilized at my "regular" weight, but that means I have to be more vigilant so it doesn't go up. The next week will be tough. Crazy busy with work on Mon-Tues., sort of normal on Wed. and then Thursday afternoon-Saturday I am going for a 2.5 day review class for my licensing exam. It's in SE MA, I am staying down there. Food is all on your own. I doubt I'll get any exercise on Friday, and not sure about Sat., since I don't get home until 6 PM. The class is at a state university, so I hope, at least for lunch, there will be some OK choices. DH is going to be away for almost all of the next 2 weeks, so I will have a chance to clean up my diet after this week.

    Ultrameal Shake, tossed salad and scrambled eggs

    Green Smoothie for a bedtime snack Mmmmmm.

    I was camping and mountain biking this weekend, so breakfast was generally cold cereal + banana and coffee, lunch was a chicken sausage cooked at the fire + hot dog bun and multi-grain tortilla chips & hummus. Dinner was whatever I could grab but can't really remember outside of an actual cheeseburger (first one of those in about a year)...several beers with friends.

    I also got in 3 hours mountain biking in two days + some hiking. A little over 1 hour of of the riding was pretty hard/intense (for me). A few shot blocks and another couple bananas were consumed.

    My eating could have been worse, I think I am starting to work out this eating while camping thing. Certainly better than the LAST time when I came close to bonking

    thumb size slice of oka soft cheese (strong Europen style cheese but made in Quebec)

    Snacks at work
    1 peach, 1 small plum
    raspberry muffin
    2 coffees with milk

    Dinner
    Green curry tomato ratatouille with eggplant, yellow zuchinni, red pepper, fresh cilantro, basil onion, garlic and ginger root combined with Chinese steamed fresh noodles
    Tea with skim milk

    B: egg white omelette with pesto and goat cheese, blueberries, coffee
    L: left over quinoa and chicken salad with yogurt/honey dressing, an apple, packet of nuts and cranberries
    S: slice of ww bread, soy nut butter
    D: I got home at 8 PM, went out since there's no food in the house and DH is leaving for an almost 2 wk trip to Asia. I had a very small serving of salad greens with fig dressing,half an order of risotto with steak tips, blue cheese, yellow squash (I ate about 3/4 of this), 1.5 glasses of red wine, one piece of garlic bread

    First day with cleaner eating in awhile...
    half a Luna Bar before 5:30 AM 10 mile hilly ride
    2 scrambled eggs, mixed with left over black beans and brown rice, blueberries, coffee after ride

    veggie burger on a ww deli flat

    12 oz skim mocha latte

    smallish serving of sprouted brown rice risotto with tofu, pack of nuts and cranberries, and 2 squares dark chocolate

    B: 2 scrambled egg whites + 1 whole egg sandwich with sprouted bread, very small amount of cheese, skim milk and coffee

    17 mile bike ride...20 minutes playing on mountain bike
    S: Banana

    L: garlic chicken sausage, one slice sprouted bread and 1 cup roasted pepper/tomato soup

    S: bran cereal w/skim milk

    40 minute hard strength training session

    D: 3 scrambled egg whites to feed my muscles, one tomato, more skim milk

    Snack later will be a wedge of dark chocolate I think
