    Tip: Re-usable "twist ties"

Hi ladies! I found these re-usable ties at my local REI one day and they work great for strapping a thing or two on your bike that doesn't fit in your pockets/seat bag. I leave one (black) on my seat stem and use it if necessary. This morning was cold when I left on my ride so I started with full finger gloves and an ear band (I'm kind of a sissy in the cool weather). Once it got too warm for them, I switched to my fingerless gloves and wrapped the full finger and ear band around my bars near the center stem and just wrapped the tie around them. They didn't go anywhere, nor did I have to stuff my pockets super full. They are rubber coated so they don't slip or scratch your bike. Just don't get them too close to your wheel of the friction will rub the rubber off. I ruined one of the two!

I was happy to have one today so I just thought I'd share my tip. Happy riding!

    Thumbs up

Thanks for that, never seen those before.

I always have a couple of resusable zippy ties on my bike, as seen in pic, next to my super sexy new Ergon handgrips.

As usual it does not look like you can buy them in the UK, no surprise there!

While I was just looking on the internet, I came across this YouTube clip, worth a watch, amazing what they can be used for.
