    Great report! I just love riding out there - I swear it is the most beautiful place to ride in California. I really missed doing DR this year.

    When I coached Death Ride, we always have riders who struggle with the altitude like you do, V. It really is completely dependent on the person and not on their level of fitness. Interesting from a scientific standpoint, but I am sure it's frustrating.

    Heh, in my case it was altitude and lack of fitness.
