we can talk about politics, Bikeless. Just not about the secret hidden agenda of dachsund world domination

OT (on topic) does this make me a bike snob?!? There are NO stickers on my bikes. Even bumperstickers on my car (have two right now that say "watch for kids and bikes") are in the rear window, not on the not-worth-saving paint job.

I really must get over the sticker-on-bike snobishness. Been thinking of getting the National Bike Registry thing and of course there's a sticker you put on the bike in hopes of getting it back. Just can't decide on the most style'in place to put the sticker.

    Here's one that's good:

    Bike stickers for cars

Cool bike stickers for cars? Yes! I've seen some great ones on other cars but can't ever find any for my car.
My favorite to date? Put some fun between your legs - Ride a bike!
We have held on to just about every car we've own in the last 20 years. Hubby has promised to pull out the old '85 Bronco II, fix it's engine, and make that my bike car. Mostly because it has a hitch receiver for my yet to purchase new bike carrier. Anyway, I like bumper stickers, and want some on my "bike car"! I've hunted around some on the internet but I get lost fairly quickly, then frustrated, then stop. So, keep those suggestion coming. This internet challenged hen needs all the help she can get.

I got one of those little plastic state licence plates that I could customise . . . so my bike bag proudly says to all, BIKERHEN from WA State

I've only ever had one bumper sticker on my car...

"A tisket, a tasket, a condem or a casket." Can you tell I graduated from nursing school around the time of AIDS?

Longs cycle has neat stickers for bikes, but I would never put anything sticky on my precious babies.

The way I see it, if my LBS is going to put a sticker on each bike proclaiming their everlasting greatness, and if Trek and Giant and Felt are going to put THEIR stickers on it, bragging about the model name and type of frame, fork, etc., then I can put on my own stickers that are a little sassy. I try to keep it semi-classy, and not overwhelm the bike with stickers. Just one or two really good ones per bike.

And my 6-year-old hardtail that was my ONLY bike for five years is now becoming a commuter since I got my new mtn bike. It has its fair share of nicks and scratches from being ridden so much, so there are some spots that need a new sticker.

Besides, how else am I going to avoid looking like a stuck-up, too cool for school roadie?

I have a Randonneurs USA decal on my lower left rear window, and a Donate Life small decal in the lower center. (Plus my PID GID plate!)

On my bike I have a cool Batz Maru sticker on the seat tube right below the seat stays, facing back. It is red and black and blends in with the bike almost like it's supposed to be there. Then on the chain stay, on the left, it was a little dinged when I got it, and the original sticker was missing, so I just put on an RUSA decal, just the words, Randonneuring USA, four lines of white letters on a blue background, that wraps around the chain stay and covers up the dings. It is very understated. I originally wanted to get the Team Anaerobia decal set, and put the decal with the little red blood cells over that area, but never got around to it.

Since I got a new(er) truck, I have really resisted stickers. My old truck had a sticker that said "My Pigeon Is Smarter Than Your Honor Student" and another that said "Pigeons Are Birds Too."
