There are probably a lot of different definitions here of Ultra Endurance, but I do rides up to 600k (though more regularly 100 - 200 miles), and find I just have to reapply chamois butter if I need it. (There are often rides I don't need it at all, and there are often times where chafing just happens regardless of what I do).
I have not yet found any appreciable difference in the type/brand in terms of longevity.

Okoole stuff is another choice, works on long rides but is very greasy, stains and don’t really care for the smell.
