sigh... we did *something* to anger Mother Nature, that's for sure.![]()
We have broken our 21 year record of 50 days above 100 degrees. We are currently at 57 with another 5 in the forecast.
We (Oklahoma) had the highest average July temperature of ANY state in the HISTORY of records at 90 degrees. TX was second at 89.something. Hotter than any AZ, NV, NM, UT July in recorded history. Sigh....
We are so below rainfall it's going to take years to get back to normal. We've been in this drought since last fall. The huge recreation lake by my house is 9 feet below it's normal level. Boats are in the mud and we have some serious beaches going on (take THAT California).
Crazy ol' weather. I'm ready for this summer to die a horrible death...
And yet places like the PNW are way below normal temps and shivering up there. I wish we could all just share the heat/rain etc.I'd be willing to share the warmth in exchange for some moisture falling.
