Yes, I realize high beams don't matter to some women. I applaud the self-confidence of such women.

However...I really don't want to see their high beams at work. I used to work with a gal who had large breasts and wore "soft cup" bras that did nothing to conceal them. It was very distracting...and I can only imagine what the men thought! She wasn't wearing anything "sexy", just normal tops, but it's hot here in the south, so we don't wear jackets to work. As such, I don't want to reveal all to my co-workers, and I don't want them to reveal all to me either.

I think it has nothing to do with self-confidence. This topic is just not present in some countries, you don't need "self-confidence" to ... have nipples (?) in those countries. I never even thought about this at all.

To be honest, I'm quite happy too that I don't have to worry about my nipples or the lines of my underwear showing through clothes. And I don't mean this in a "patronizing" way at all. It sounds really stressful to think about all those things!

I wonder if this is something "new" that came up in the last few years in your country? Or something you grew up with? (I hope it's not a "trend" that will affect me at some point. I wouldn't like to go through such hazzle.)

I understand that in other countries, this is seen as having a "hang up" about natural body parts.
I am not very modest, but I really don't want my nipples showing in any professional situation, just as I don't want my azz crack showing, or any cleavage. In my job, I have to be aware of what might be "triggering," but I would be like this in any work situation. And I don't want others to see my underwear, either.
This may be cultural, and that's OK. Jobob, you didn't need to delete your post; I think everyone understands that opinions on this issue differ in different places.

It's not earth-shattering news that there are cultural differences regarding this sort of thing. Learning about attitudes different from one's own is interesting to me.

I admit the term "headlights" makes my skin crawl a little, but that's just me. I hate "buns," too.

I ordered some of the Bezi bra discs this morning. Will report back. Shipping is ridiculous ($8.50 for tiny little things?!), but with the $10 off promo for signing up for their mailing list, I was willing to give them a try.

I'll be interested to hear your opinion Emily. I wonder how they will feel in hot weather. I envision an unbearable urge to rip them off...but it would be nice to have something that worked.

Just an update -- I got these back in late June and have been very happy with them. They are comfortable. Most of the time I forget I'm using them. And they work as advertised. They're also more comfortable than a padded bra on a hot day.

Cool! I cannot seem to find ANYTHING to dim the headlights, even good bras with padding doesn't seem to help I may have to give these a shot, thanks!

I've used bandaids before... but I don't hhave a lot to cover...

Normal bras with good padding to protect against this are the body by victoria at victorias secret. Might be too much padding for some. But definitely one of my favorite bras.

That's my two cents.

I know some don't like Victoria's Secret, but if they ever discontinue the Body by Victoria bras, I will cry! I struggled to find bras for a long time, but these not only fit me well, they are actually comfortable.

Haha! My ex used to say they were so pointy they could cut glass! I'm getting to a point where for the most part, I've stopped caring. I wear a bra. If they point, they point. I have boobs. Get over it.
