We were in Colorado in June and drove over most of Stage 1 and part of Stage 2. Independence Pass will be scary.
I wish we could get the delayed online video like we could with TdF- it's almost impossible to schedule time to watch much of the race.

We've been recording it and watching later. After last night though, I redid all the upcoming recordings to go an extra 1/2 hour rather than 15 minutes (missed the last 5 miles!
!).
It is beautiful scenery.

Independence Pass is scary in a car
They will go right through Twin Lakes today. We stayed at a B&B there last year. Wish I was there today

Missed the most exciting part of the race, the downhill on Independence Pass! The wings of the helicopter were icing up and had to land so no coverage.

I had a chance to ride Indepence Pass on Ride the Rockies but passed up the opportunity due to fear of heights and issues with asthma. Sagged to Leadville that day.
