I've tried to get my 6 yr old nephew interested in triathlons, but he's not around it like your son is. My niece (2 1/2) sat and watched Kona with me when I was sitting for her, and provided running commentary: "now they running. Now you crying. Now they singing (music playing). Why you crying Ahnt Yeesa?" After I explained that sometimes people cry when they're happy, she called it "laughing".

BTW, I have not stopped dreaming about coming down and cheering for you on 4/9. It would be such a fun getaway, warm weather, new friends, and an IM from the inside. My main problem now is I'm on call to deliver babies for 24 hr that weekend! Working on finding someone to switch with me. So, keep your eyes open for cheap air fares, because I just may need it! L.
