Feeling the same way today. I'm training for a 3 day mtn bike tour in Sept. and was planning to do a 1 hr ride with intervals today. We got back from the mtns yesterday afternoon and had to spruce up the house for an overnight guest. He didn't leave until after 9 this morning and I hadn't even begun to get ready to ride. By 10 it was 83 degrees and getting hotter so I punted on the ride.

If it hadn't gotten hot so quickly I could have used a good recovery ride today. The US Pro Tour from Steamboat to Breckinridge includes Heeney Road and Swan Mtn road in Summit County. Last Thursday we rode the Heeney road out and back, 22 miles. Sat's ride was around Dillon Reservoir, Swan Mtn road, (we went up the downhill section of the Pro tour) on to Keystone and then a 5.5 mile climb up to the town of Montezuma then back around Dillon Reservoir back to Frisco. Montezuma Road climbs 900 ft in the 5.5 miles to Montezuma. Don't know how much actual climbing we did, estimated 2,500 to 3,000. Started at 9,100 ft, top of Swan Mtn around 9,500 and Montezuma is 10,300.

Since I'm also getting ready for ski season I'm keeping cool today and doing weight and anaerobic training. Recovery ride will be tomorrow.

Hope you feel better and maybe a nice walk or hike would be the answer.
