That's awesome! Congrats! Post pics when you have a chance.
P.S. I should probably ask this is a separate thread, how wide should bars be anyway? Is there an average size that most women (narrow shouldered women in particular) run? Do most women cut their bars down a bit?
Live with intention. Walk to the edge. Listen hard. Practice wellness. Play with abandon. Laugh. Choose with no regret. Continue to learn. Appreciate your friends. Do what you love. Live as if this is all there is.

I think it depends a lot on personal preference & the type of trails you ride, but this guy had pretty wide shoulders and liked even wider bars. I'll hook a tree with them, at the least, but they put my hands so wide that I can't really support my upper body (I have narrow shoulders).

Jess, that's awesome! Can't wait to see the pics!
Indy, it's a personal thing, and I think that it depends a little on the bike too. My singlespeed has wider bars (~26") than my geared bike (~24") for more leverage... DH, on the other hand, runs 28" bars on his single!
Ok, well I have been trying to log in to Flickr to upload the photos there, but since it keeps telling me to sign in with my "woeijowigangorgabiugaweiof" ID, rather than jessmarimba, I have an odd feeling that my account has been compromised.
