aw, what a sweet story. I am sorry for your loss. I lost a 16 year old cat last week from kidney failure (I think) too. She was slowly deteriorating and suddenly got so much worse that i had her pts.
Even though I have 3 other cats and she wasn't even my favorite; I keep looking for her and missing her presence.
