Using Paypal For Internet Sales?

Whether the payment clears into PayPal or all the way into a bank account won't matter. In the event of a dispute, PayPal can come after you for the money. They'll first make your account balance negative, and then send it out to a debt collector.

Sellers on eBay as essentially at the mercy of their hopefully honest buyers. I don't know if things have gotten as bad for non-eBay transactions.

PayPal has a Seller Protection Policy that's supposed to protect sellers. However, it seems that certain types of financial fraud aren't covered.

So, then what countermeasures can we take to not be scammed by somebody off Paypal. I mean, are you saying that if they send the money, we ship the item - and then then start a dispute and do not return the item... then what, are we going to lose both the wheels and the cash and there's nothing that can be done?
