If it's the real article (Spanish manchego), apparently a bit sheepy. If it's the American version, a bit like cheddar. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manchego
The Spanish one is fantastic with cured meat...*whistles innocently*

Yesterday was bad, and it came back to bite me today. At least we finally went shopping...
B: 3/4 of a mint chocolate Clif bar, glass of milk, glass of OJ
S: 3 or 4 slices of bread with jalapeno hummus
    L: BLT with cheese, water
S: small bit of lemon pound cake
D: Fried rice (with egg and chicken), salad
2 small frappucinos, one with 2%.
Apparently I didn't eat enough yesterday, because I woke up hungry then nearly bonked on today's ride...
At least I don't leave slime trails.

The Machengo is the real deal, it's imported from Spain, which is where I was introduced to it.

    today:
matzah brei (fried matzah). Yes, it's not Passover, but since we didn't have the right bread for French toast, it's a good sub. I put walnuts and cranberries in mine, with a little powdered sugar. banana, grapes, and coffee

went on a 48.8 mile ride. During the ride I drank about 2 and 3/4 bottles of Nuun/water and another half a bottle of plain water. Had a chicken and provolone sandwich on a whole wheat roll with mustard for lunch, with a Luna Bar. With about 12 miles left, I ate 2 shot blocks at a point in this ride I always feel dragging on.

post ride snack of a few ww pita chips and hummus. I was craving salt. Iced coffee

paninni on ww ciabatta, with a little pancetta, sun dried tomatoes, basil, goat cheese, olive oil and cole slaw. 2 pieces of chocolate

Trader Joe's, you say? Hmmm...(now I'm going to have to find a source of good ham...)

Bowl of cereal with 1%, OJ
5 shot blocks and water on a very sticky 22-mile ride
    Frappucino, chips
2 slices French bread with jalapeno hummus, a nectarine
    2 granola bars
Half a salmon fillet, broccoli, roasted potatoes
    maybe ice cream and cherries...?
At least I don't leave slime trails.

If I drink coffee after noon, I'm up all night! Wish I could though. I love coffee in the evening with a light dessert.

    Me too!
I had to stop drinking even decaf after dinner with dessert. Once in awhile I get a feeling that I can drink coffee at dinner and be fine and it usually happens. It's weird. Yesterday I had a big iced coffee when i got home from a ride, at 5 PM and I was up all night.

L: vegan noodles and tofu, with a spicy sauce, packet of nuts and cranberries

    S: Luna Bar

D: salad with chicken, blueberries, grapes, red pepper and some kind of yogurt dressing (DH made it). 2 squares chocolate.
