Another citation roundup on SPD Blotter tonight; at first glance, we thought, nah, we’ll skip this one, nothing particularly major. Then we took a second look, and noticed this SW Admiral Way stop:

    1 bicycle at 42 mph

First time we’ve seen them mention a bicyclist

    much more, good read!

I've heard of situations (where no one was endangered except maybe the rider) where the cops actually refused to give a "performance award" to motorcyclists. Giving them something to brag about isn't much of a punishment.

I loved it! But the commenters are exasperating.

Yup. I never read the comments---it's a self-selecting group, not representative of the world view at large, and guaranteed to get you spun up. Some people, I think---I DON'T mean you, Jess---read them TO get spun up, which is its own weirdness.

Yeah, it WAS a good read.

I think I'm always hoping to find a group of people like "us"

After years of not seeing anything but ignorance and anger in online comment sections, you'd think I'd learn better.

I've been clocked through a radar trap on several occasion. And I haven't been given a citation nor a warning. When I do, I'm gonna scan it and post it What more proof do I need to show to the guys (boyz) that I can pedal my bike fast when I need to!!

With all the moves I have made in my lifetime, I lost my one dollar refund check from state of NJ. Whooey

I still have a letter of dismissal for a parking ticket after I went to a "hearing" and filed a motion to dismiss. It was too easy!

These sort of things makes life interesting.
