well... I think my WIFI router is brain dead.

I've been changing its setting most of the morning, changing my network configuration... and nothing seems to work. And now http://198.168.2.1 in the web browser is not connecting to the router. Router is pretty old anyway. Changing of settings would not have caused the router to not respond to a fixed (hard wired) address.

One thing I did notice of my booboo. Internet MAC address had not been changed when I changed from Verizon DSL to Clear 4G modem. Fixing the MAC address helped a lot but the problem I was having before is still there.

Time to buy an 8-port or 16-port switch plus a WIFI access point.
