    I'm making Black Bean chocolate brownies from 101cookbooks.com. And I'm making PB ice cream with chocolate shavings out of frozen bananas. I'm looking forward to some brownie sundaes tonight!!!!

    Limewave--That combo strikes me as odd. It makes sense from a "food construction" standpoint, but I'm having difficulty wrapping my head around the "black beans" and "brownies" combination. In my mind, chocolate and legumes should stay far away from each other...except in Mexican food! (I've also never cottoned on to banana-based things, because all I taste is banana. If I wanted to taste banana, I'd have eaten one...and now the word "banana" has lost all meaning.) I'd be interested to hear about how it turns out, though.

    What do I want for lunch...salad, tacos and salad, or fried rice and salad? I'll stop before it turns into a vegetarian version of the Spam Sketch.

    lol. I thought the same thing but will try just about anything once. And I have to say, the brownies are very fudgey! Surprisingly, I like them. We'll have to wait and see what the family thinks tonight.

    OK, I am going to start joining in b/c I can't seem to lose these 5-8lbs that are stuck and this will help hold me accountable!

    early am:sunrise energy granola bar(130 calories. buy them at costco) before 2 hour ride
    B: mojo clif bar (ran out the door late to work, only portable item)
    L: steamed chicken and veggies
    S:handful of sun dried tomatoes(ate while making dinner)
    D: Chicken apple sausage w/ sauteed veggies(onion,garlic, red pepper, asparagus,basil,jalapenos, mushrooms) and mozzarella. Small portion of black rice. 1 beer
    S: 2 spoons of ice cream out of SO's bowl.

    Just realized I didn't post yesterday's food.
    slice of whole wheat bread with soy nut butter before early AM short hill ride
    egg white omelette with feta cheese, orange, coffee, after ride

    salad with chicken and cous cous, veggies

    cranberries and nuts

    low salt ham sandwich and low fat provolone cheese on a whole wheat roll, mustard, cole slaw, strawberries

    Today:
    slice of whole wheat bread from the bakery, with olive oil, 2 slices of Machengo cheese, 3 slices of low salt ham, orange, coffee

    salad with left over penne and veggies, an apple

    piece of small slice whole wheat with soy nut butter before ride

    flank steak marinated in lime juice and chil powder, mixture of sweet potato, red pepper, onion, salad with feta cheese , grape tomatoes
