    I love them for the same reason. It keeps me from putting my wrists/hands in a bad position.

    I like feeling tzvia said, a complete wrap around the bar. I am actually running ODI Cross Trainers which I thought were very thin but I really like them. Lots of grip, not a lot of extra weight and thickness I don't need. Everything in biking is personal. I am an ODI fan but may check out those Crank Bros grips. I have had non lock-on style twist AND come off. Nothing but lock-on for me.

    I was just picturing what it would be like to have a grip come off on the trail

    I do wish that I didn't have the problems with my hands, it would give me more options...
