I'm sick to death of that Izod commercial, too. It's so horribly superficial. Who surfs in a collared shirt, for crying out loud? And that "race" with one whole car? Please. It's stupid. And the song is stupid. And I used to love Izod. In 1983.
I wish there was a way to email the PTBs and tell them to axe that commercial. (Powers That Be)
I like Fluffy protecting his bone and stuff, though. Cute.

Sigh - I'm watching it online via Versus (when it works that is), and we don't get any commercials. I did see Bobke looking for a riding buddy, which was pretty funny, when watching the Tour at a restaruant one morning but for most of the time, they didn't have the sound on. Sheesh? Finally the owner (avid cyclist) came in and turned it on. Perhaps I'll go back Sat & Sun to watch again?
I finally got the Versus website to work - sometimes. Last night I think it took 5 hours to watch a 3 hour race due to computer and Versus glitches.
Those are RoadID commercials -- you can watch them online: http://www.youtube.com/roadid
+1 on the annoying Izod commercial! I wonder if the advertisers realize that they might LOSE customers when their ditties are overplayed to the point that desperate watchers keeping the TV on mute as much as possible to avoid hearing...it...one...more...time.
I LOVE the furry little guy guarding his doghouse, but I'd like the peloton to run over the jingle singer at this point, LOL!!!... The Bobke commercials are cute, in part because there seem to be enough versions to keep 'em from growing too stale. (Of course, we're only half way through the Tour, so the jury's still out. :-).... I suppose the advertisers all subscribe to the theory that there's no such thing as bad publicity, even if you're driving your potential customers bananas!

Remember the Saab "Born from Jets" commercial that they played incessantly during the Tour a few years ago? Whenever the Izod commercial comes on, I just remind myself that it could be worse. We can only hope that Izod will go the way of Saab...
