Bluebug!! Your white and teal bike is so cool! It looks like one of those Bianchis from this year. Is it a custom job?

OK, here's another Synapse (53cm, 2011, carbon, charcoal and white, Shimano Ultegra groupset, stock DT Swiss R-1700 wheels, stock Schwalbe Durango tires, stock FSA wing compact handlebar, Look Keo 2 Max pedals, Selle Italia Diva saddle):

During a ride I saw a Synapse in coral and orange that made me skip several heartbeats. I found a picture online -- wish I had that color! http://cycleandstyle.com/wp-content/...cannondale.jpg

Thank you! It was actually the Synapse Hi Mod Carbon SRAM red edition. Someone who worked at my bike shop bought and then decided she wanted the Super Six instead. I bought it, removed her dura ace and replaced it with SRAM and also changed the bar tape. I love it thought. I've done a century and thousands of miles on rough and dirt roads and it's such a smooth ride.

They are all beautiful, but Marie Laveau is just bewitchingly awesome ...couldn't resist

Blue, certainly blue. Or purple. Not that I am biased or anything

Are we the same person? Because I do this as well (and we seem to think lots of the same things are awesome). Right now I've been in my pink phase for a year or so and these phases usually last a while. I remember all through middle school everything I wore was gray. And then everything was blue. And now... pink of course!

My road bike is my favorite color-turquoise. The OP's Synapse is a hot bike for sure. If I had the cash for an upgrade, that would top my list of BILFs.

I'm considering having my vintage Schwinn Cimarron repainted from red to green...just so I can add some tan/honey Brooks accessories to it. Would that be terrible to repaint a vintage bike when the original finish is still in good shape? I like the red fine, but green would be more "me".
    She's going the distance...

I love all the pics of everyone's bikes! I'm glad I'm not the only one to name mine either! (My girl's named Caitlin). I don't have a current pic of her she just got new tape and pedals but I will get one soon!

I don't see why not. Rivendell makes those custom steel frame bikes for folks and they take old frames and repaint them with their own stuff. That's the beauty of steel, I think!

Very Nice ! I LOVE a pink bike ! She does look fast ! Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy

I just got a 2007 Trek Madone 5.5 full Carbon / Dura Ace / King Headset with a custom "blue lightning bolt" paint job. She came a with a few pink accents so I've added pink striped tires & bar tape to play up the pinkness. She came with a 12/25, but since I'm coming off a Triple I decided to switch it to a 12/27 for getting up the hills here in northern Connecticut- any way she should be back together, tuned up and ready to roll tomorrow.
    I'll post pix this weekend.
