I'm not surprised that Google is wanting to get in on the social media action. I got in when someone shared a comment with me. At the bottom there was a place to click to "learn more about Google+" and I was in.

It looks like they've opened registration again. They've apparently only been leaving it open for a couple of hours at a time over the past few days, then shutting it back down.

I saw it for about 30 minutes and only about half the people I've been inviting are able to get in. Man, it's like a game!

I got an invite but am clueless on how to use it. I much prefer FB, because it's what I'm used to.
