Coffee Cruise Reincarnation - Heads' up!

    To disable ads, please log-in.

Just a heads' up that the no-notice Coffee Cruise will be starting up again in a couple weeks.

    North Seattle.

    Little-to-no notice.

    Less than 10 mph.

    Mostly on the BG trail.

From one coffee shop to another.

Ride your fixie, your mixte, your zoom-zoom, your single speed!

Wear your team kit, your kilt, your skirt, your tweed, your jeans!

Social, slow, and no stress/no drop.

Extra credit for stopping to smell the roses and admire the view.

That's a ride that might even be my speed! So far my max has been 5 min on the recumbant exercise bike at PT. It's a computer machine, so yesterday I tried to keep my RPM above 60; however I was riding at level 2. Rode 1.2 miles on "flat" terraine in my designated 5 minutes.

Sounds very fun. I created a ride called "phatt bottom girls" a few summers ago, we never knew who was going to show or where we would head off to and we always had a blast. Now that my achilles seem to be functioning again maybe I will start a "phatt bottom's go for coffee"

Mimi is right . . . it's a mess! I would say forget riding the BG trail until the trail work is finished in six months.

It's only the two miles from Logboom to 145th that are blocked. You could do this ride south of 145th with no problem. Knot, did you say you were moving closer to the BG?

Yup! It's gonna be soooooo convenient.

I know about the detour. The rides will be well away from all that hot mess.
