Oh Sarah!! How terrible to be stung in the mouth.I hope this isn't recent.
Wish you a speedy recovery if the bee sting is recent.

A bee flew into my helmet through the vent. Luckily, I have hairand normally wear a skull cap. Still, made an emergency stop popped off my helmet and ripped off my skull cap. I don't want a bee sting on my head or anywhere on me!

Thanks for the well wishes. It happened at the end of last year. First day wasn't so bad but when I woke up the next morning the swelling was so much worse I actually went to the doctor and they gave me steroids. It took over a week to go away. He flew in my mouth, I spat him out, but the stinger had lodged in my cheek and I had to pull it out.
I try to be better about keeping my mouth closed on descents.
