although I amnot currently riding outside because of recovery, every summer in Houston, I go through the ick routine, as any ride of any length in the typical 90 degree 70-90% humidity, leaves me dripping in sweat and leaving puddles of sweat whenever I stand still. My routine is to pull in to the garage, close the door, turn on the fan, strip down to the buff, wipe myself down with a beach towel, race through the house, take a shower, lie down under the fan for five minutes, get dressed and then go out to the garage, open the door, prep my bike directly in front of the fan, pick up my laundry and throw it directly into the washing machine. not pretty or dignified, but tends to keep the puddles of sweat, sunscreen and gnats outside on a cement floor which can be hosed down.

Most days when I finish a ride, I can literally wring water out of my bra more than once.

sigh......

our local bike shop has the t shirt which says houston, heat, humidity, headwinds.

Yep.
