I'm with you. I hate humidity. I spent 28 years of my life in Florida, and am so happy to be close to Chattanooga where at least it's 94 with 85% humidity for just a few months of the year, rather than all year at 94 and 98%. I never understood the Florida retirement dream. It's HOT and STICKY and you are stuck in your house except in the morning and late afternoon. Except it's still sticky out. It's the only place I know of where it's normal to take 2 showers a day.
I don't know why it seems to sap all your energy, either. You just feel like a wet rag.
