I often wear a regular non-padded cotton underwire bra. It wouldn't work for higher-impact activities, but it's sufficient for road biking, and I find it very comfortable. The issue of unzipping rarely comes up (Saturday's ride had me in baselayer, jersey, jacket and vest...).
