    Virginia, organized ride

    To disable ads, please log-in.

Last year we went on an organized ride and began talking to a lady that was wearing a real nice jersey. She said she got it from a ride she did in Virginia. The ride is multi day but for the life of us we cannot remember what this ride is called.

Does anyone here know what this ride is called?

    Much thanks ~ JoAnn

    Bike Virginia?

I've never done it, but according to the website you get a jersey with your registration fee.

    - Gray 2010 carbon WSD road bike, Rivet Independence saddle
    - Red hardtail 26" aluminum mountain bike, Bontrager Evoke WSD saddle
    - Royal blue 2018 aluminum gravel bike, Rivet Pearl saddle

    Gone but not forgotten:
    - Silver 2003 aluminum road bike
    - Two awesome worn out Juliana saddles

    Are they all multi-day rides?

    Some are:
    Bike Virginia
    The Great Peanut Tour
RiverRide - one official day; one non-official day. Most people stay the night
Tour de Chesapeake - similar to RR--most people stay for several days

Thanks so much. I have a feeling it is Bike Virginia that we talked about with the other cyclist.

Bike Virginia is a huge ride every year in a different part of the state. It's for 4-5 days, lots of fun. I've done plenty, so I'm skipping this year, but I highly recommend it. I've visited more parts of the state than I would have otherwise.

The other rides are great, as well.
